We are pleased to inform you that the temple is celebrating a Navaratri Vaibhavam for 10 days.(Tamil month Puratassi 23rd to Ayppasi 1st 2018).

Navaratri is a nine days festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. Navaratri is a Sanskrit word which literally means nine nights. During these nine nights and ten days, Goddess Durga is worshipped in 9 different forms, known as Navdurga. Following the nine days of rituals and worship, the 10th day is celebrated as Dussehra, which is also known as Vijay-Dashmi. It is celebrated to mark the victory of mythical King Lord Rama over the King of Sri Lanka, Ravana.

Evening Pooja Schedule:
Every evening Pooja Starts at 5:30 pm with Homam and Abhishekam followed by Sangeetha Samarpanam, (Music Performance), Aarthi, Golu Pooja and Prasadam distribution
