We are pleased to inform you that the temple is celebrating a Navaratri Vaibhavam for 10 days.(Tamil month Puratassi 4th to 13th, 2017).
Navaratri is a nine days festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. Navaratri is a Sanskrit word which literally means nine nights. During these nine nights and ten days, Goddess Durga is worshipped in 9 different forms, known as Navdurga. Following the nine days of rituals and worship, the 10th day is celebrated as Dussehra, which is also known as Vijay-Dashmi. It is celebrated to mark the victory of mythical King Lord Rama over the King of Sri Lanka, Ravana.

Evening Abishekam Details:
September 20, 21 & 22 – Sri Durga Abishekam
September 23, 24 & 25 – Sri Mahalakshmi Abishekam
September 26, 27 & 28 – Sri Parvathi Abishekam
Evening Pooja Details :
6:00 pm – Sankalpam, Kalasa Poojai, Moola Mantra Homam, Purnahuti
7:00 pm – Kalasabishekam, Alankaram and Concert (Kalai Nigazchi)
8:00 pm – Maha Deeparadhanai, Golu Poojai, “Vilakku Poojai (Lalitha Sahasranama Archanai)
[Those who are interested in participating Vilakku Poojai are requested to bring their own Villaku]
