Vedam nanginum meypporulavadhu nadhan namam Namah Shivaya!

We are pleased to inform you that the temple is celebrating a Maha Shivaratri Vaibhavam for Lord Shiva on the current auspicious Vikari year 2020, on Friday, February 21 (Tamil month  Maasi 9th). Devotees consider it highly meritorious to have Darshan of Lord Shiva on this day.

Shivaratri Pooja has been given tremendous significance in Hindu mythology. It is believed that the people who fast on this night and offer prayers to Lord Shiva will bring good luck into their lives. Devotees further believe that by pleasing Lord Shankara on the auspicious Shivaratri day, a person is absolved of past sins and is blessed with Moksha or salvation.
