RIG &YAJUR UPAKARMA (AVANI AVITTAM) – August 18 & 19, 2024
Upakarma, a Vedic ritual, is conducted once a year during Shravan/Avani month, when Brahmins ritually change their Yagnopaveetam, or sacred thread accompanied by relevant rituals such as offerings to the Rishis. On the following day, the Gayatri Mantra is recited 1008 times.

Yajur Vedam Upakarma – Monsday, August 19, 2024
Batch 1 – 6:00 am
Batch 2 – 7:00 am
Batch 3 – 8:00 am
Batch 4 – 9:00 am
Batch 5 – 10:00 am
Devotees can participate in Yajur veda Upakarma in any one of the four batches according to their convenience.
Note : All Participants must come in Dhoti-Angavastram and bring Panchapatra, Uddharani & Plate.
Note : Temple will provide Yagnopaveetam, Dharbha and Akshatha etc.,
