Hanuman Jayanthi

Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Hanuman, the Vanara god, widely venerated by Hindus. Hanuman is an ardent devotee of god Rama, and is worshiped for his unflinching devotion to the god. Hanuman is worshiped to attain knowledge, wisdom, strength and valor.

We are celebrating this Holy Day in our temple on Saturday (09-Jan-2016) as per Hindu Calendar.

6:00 PM  – Sri Hanuman Salisa Parayanam
7:00 PM  – Sangeetha Kacheri By Sanskruti Music Group
Namratha Prasad on vocals trained in Hindustani Classical music. Works for Rogers Communication and also teaches sugama   sangeetha in Mississauga.
Shreedhara Madhyastha will accompany on tabla. He is a student of Grade 10 and lives in Brantford.
They will be performing devotional songs composed by renowned Dasas.
