Durmkhi Varusha Pirappu 2016

We are pleased to inform you that the temple is organizing a Panchanga Patanam on Wednesday, April 13th 2016 at Siva Satyanarayana Swami Temple, Canada on  Tamil New Year.

Since the ancient times, the Panchanga Patanam is performed all across temples on the auspicious day of the Tamil New Year.

As per Canadian time, this Tamil New Year “Durmukhi Varsha”, also known as “Varusha Pirappu”, is observed on first day of Tamil month, Chithirai, which starts at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13th 2016. We have planned to perform a special morning and evening pooja at our temple.

All devotees are cordially invited to attend with family and friends and partake the blessings of God. Those who are willing to sponsor are requested to contact our temple directly.

Evening Pooja details:

6:00 PM – Sakala Devatha Aradhanai

6:30 PM – Navagraha and Panchanga Poojai

7:00 PM – Panchanga Patanam

7:30 PM – Ashirvachanam

8:00 PM – Prasadam Distribution
