Gayatri Japam – August 18, 2016

On the next day of Upakarma/Avani Avittam ritual, the wearer of the sacred thread repeats Gayatri Mantra several times preferably in the morning. The repeatedly chanting of Gayatri Mantra, usually 108 and 1008 times, is known as Gayatri Japam.

Pooja starts at 10:00 am and ends at 12:30 pm
