Sri Lakshmi Rama (Sri Maha Lakshmi, Thayār)

Sri Satyanārāyanar’s Consort in this temple is known as Lakshmi Ramā (Thāyār Padmāvathi) and is to the right of Sri Satyanārāyanar, as per Vaishnavite Sampradhāyam. Ambāl is seated on a Lotus flower. A seated Mahā Lakshmi is supposed to give enormous Aiswarya (wealth). The dimensions are more or less similar to Tirupathi Alamelumangā. For a person standing in front of the Sannidhi, Sri Mahā Lakshmi is at the same eye level to the observer.

Favourite days :

Perform morning and evening prayer or aarti with your family every day. This makes Goddess Lakshmi happy.

Worship Maha Lakshmi especially on Friday and perform Lakshmi puja on Diwali. On the auspicious night of Diwali, worship Goddess Lakshmi. It is believed that on this night the goddess herself visits the homes and replenishes all with wealth. Offer Kheer, red flowers to goddess Laxmi.
